The InstaGen Solar PV system, featuring MCS-certified monocrystalline panels with Tigo optimisers and CCA/TAP modules, meets the criteria for the ECO4 Innovation Measure type number 29, approved by Ofgem. The innovation measure uplift is currently 25%.
This system allows continued electricity generation even with shading or faults and is suitable for various roof angles. It includes remote monitoring via the Cloud Connect unit and must be installed with documented evidence such as warranties, photos, and MCS certification. Additionally, a 10-year data plan and warranties must be provided at no cost to the end-user.

ECO4 targets improving the energy efficiency of the least efficient homes and households in fuel poverty, specifically those in bands D-G. It also aims to provide comprehensive upgrades by using a whole-house retrofit approach, whereby energy companies determine which retrofit projects they choose to the fund and the level of funding they provide.
