Monitoring

The Enphase Envoy-S Metered is an integral component of the Enphase Microinverter System. It operates between the Enphase Microinverters and the Enphase Enlighten web-based monitoring and analysis software. The Envoy-S monitors the microinverters that are connected to the PV modules. 

It collects energy and performance data from the inverters over on-site AC power lines and then forwards the data to Enlighten to give statistical data on how a solar PV system is performing. For guidance on installation please read the InstallationSheet.

Envoy-S Metered -  This model has all the functionality of the Envoy-S Standard but includes a built in meter and allows CT clamp connection. This makes it's output power tracking more accurate and allows property power consumption data to be visualised on the monitoring. It also allows the system to be "battery ready", meaning that all sensing hardware is already in place so Enphase battery modules can be added easily in future.
