Pre Christmas Delivery Information

It's a busy time of year, so please place orders as early as possible to avoid any delivery issues with parcel couriers. We recommend despatch by Monday 18th December to ensure your order arrives before the Christmas break; however, our couriers are accepting "Next Day" orders throughout the week so if you need something urgently do give us a call.

Midsummer’s Cambridge warehouses are closed after Friday 22 December and reopen for collections and next day delivery on Tuesday 2nd January.

Midsummer’s Glasgow warehouse is closed after Friday 22 December and reopens for collections and next day deliveries on Wednesday 3rd January so GSE ground-mount and K2 mounting orders (and potentially other stock items) will not be available for despatch until the 3rd January. Pallet, DPD and DX deliveries will resume on Wednesday 3rd January

For DPD deliveries:

For customers wanting delivery on Friday 22nd we would recommend despatch on Monday 18th. This is a busy period for DPD so please place orders as early as possible to avoid delivery issues.
The last recommended day for despatch is Tuesday the 19th, but the "actual" last day is Thursday the 21st (arriving Christmas Eve).
Collections resume Tuesday 2nd January with delivery on Wednesday 3rd.
DPD does email us daily with an update during this busy period for them, so if customers are wanting despatch outside of this we can enquire on their behalf.

For SW deliveries:

SW are delivering on Friday 22nd of December, so last day for next-day despatch is Thursday 21st (postcodes with 2-5 days delivery timeframes will need to be earlier, as appropriate). Collections resume Tuesday 2nd January with delivery on Wednesday 3rd.

SW will collect pallets on Friday 22nd if booked on, but those will then be delivered on the 2nd January. 

For DX deliveries:

Last day of despatch for pre-Christmas DX deliveries is Thursday 21st. Orders despatched on Friday 22nd will be delivered Wednesday 27th. Collections resume Tuesday 2nd January with delivery on Wednesday 3rd.

For CCC deliveries:

CCC are operating on Friday 22nd of December, but isn't reopening until Wednesday 3rd January.
