Thermino xPlus - Designed to produce domestic hot water and is heated indirectly by an ASHP, Solar PV, a Boiler, and backup Grid Electricity. This compatibility is now enabled by the Optimino Key's. When combined with a charge timer and a variable electricity tariff, the Thermino xPlus range allows for low cost indirect water heating. The reduced size combined with the fact that the Sunamp does not need any venting allows for full flexibility in install location.
The Thermino 210 xPlus would typically be installed in a 2-3 bedroom property as a rule of thumb.
Note, the Sunamp is very heavy:
- Tilting it beyond 45 degrees may damage the unit and void your warranty.
- Standard delivery is only to curbside, if you believe you may need assistance moving this into your property, especially upstairs, please contact about a tailored delivery service we can provide for Sunamps.
If installing with PV and an EDDI, please also fit the EDDI Relay and Sensor Board.
Sunamps should be installed with these mandatory components:
- Heat battery isolation valve
- Mains cold water pressure reducing valve (PRV)
- Mains expansion relief valve (ERV)
- Expansion vessel/shock arrestor
- Hot water thermostatic mixing valve
- Water conditioner, in areas with hard water
- Auto-bypass valve, for indirect models only
- Expansion vessel (primary circuit), for indirect models only
