A buffer vessel hydraulically separates the heat pump from the heating circuit providing the system volume for defrost cycles and stability. Buffer vessels allow for good dirt and air separation in heating systems and allow the primary and secondary pumps to operate at differing flow speeds.
Midsummer's exclusive World Heat wall-mounted buffers are high-quality stainless steel buffers with wall brackets for neat and easy installation.
Specifications:
- 28mm compression fittings welded into the buffer that are quick to fit.
- Drain and Vent connections top and bottom
- 25-litre capacity
- Overall height: 796 mm (excluding copper pipe fittings)
- External diameter: 270 mm (outside of insulation case) (excluding copper pipe fittings)
- Fully pre-insulated in a powder-coated case.
