The ESBE VTN102 is an anti-freeze valve for mono bloc heat pumps with an external thread connection and a nominal diameter of 25mm. The anti-freeze valve works to ensure the heat pump and plate heat exchanger do not freeze and break during power outages in cold weather.
If the media temperatures drops below 3°C, the valve opens to evacuate the cold water and allow warmer water to take its place, once a temperatures of 4°C is reached the valve closes again.
The VTN100 can be installed vertically at ±45°.
