Zero Disruption Install

Adia Thermal is a smart control and hydraulic interface system that is designed for zero disruption installs. It allows you to retrofit an air-source heat pump using a homes existing pipework and radiators, eliminating the need for expensive radiator retrofitting. With Adia Thermal you can connect your heat source, hot water, and radiators for centralised control and to enable monitoring and analytics in their app.

Smart control

The Adia Thermal system allows you room by room control and dynamically maintains your desired temperature in every room, automatically adjusting for natural temperature changes. It uses ultra quiet valves of under 20dB for quiet, unobtrusive heating.
It is designed for a fast, tidy install that should only take 2-3 days. It also offers tariff optimisation and can pre-warm your rooms and hot water when energy is cheapest to cut down on energy bills.

System Design

The system is composed of three components:

  • Adia Hub - a pre-plumbed interface that fits between the heat pump and existing heat system and functions as the brain of the system. Contains a smart hydraulic seperation, a secondary pump, and a hot water diverter for complete control over the heating system.
  • Flow Balancing Valve (FBV) - these are fitted on the TRV head of each radiator and are used to modulate the heat output from each radiator. Maximum 50 radiators.
  • Ambient Temperature Sensors (ATS) - these monitor the temperature in each room. They should be placed in every room for optimal performance.
The system is compatible with existing hot water cylinders when used with R290 heat pumps.
