The GivEnergy All In One AC coupled system has many advantages. With 7.2kW peak power, the charge and discharge rate of these batteries helps better take advantage of agile tariffs. Alongside this, the system is complete with a substantial 13.5kWh useable battery pack and allows for 100% Depth of Discharge. Meanwhile, whole house backup can be achieved when paired with a GivEnergy Gateway.
Beyond the advantage of working with flexible rate tariffs, the All In One inverter is grid service ready meaning that end users can take advantage when energy suppliers offer payments to reduce their electrical consumption at certain times.
If being installed without the Giv Gateway the GivEnergy GEM120CT Modbus Energy Meter 1ph 1m should be purchased for import and export readings that are required for battery operation. This is the ID1 meter.
You will also need an additional GEM120 meter to measure the PV generation if there is solar. This is the ID2 meter.
