We've taken the development of Smug in-house and we've completely redesigned the interface. See exactly what your energy is doing by visualising power flows. View forecasted solar generation and energy consumption. Connect your time-of-use tariff and watch us optimise your battery system in real time by charging at times when electricity is cheap and selling it back at the best price. And - coming soon - get paid through 'Flex' markets for providing electricity to the grid from your battery when demand is high.

- Connect your inverter either through the cloud API or a Smug Bug in-home display
- Let us know what tariff you are on
- Sit back and watch us optimise your system and save you £s.
Compatibility
- FoxESS Connects via a cloud API token - just log into your Fox account to generate this.
- GivEnergy Connects via a Smug Bug (recommended) or GivEnergy Cloud API (requires premium GivEnergy subscription - not recommended, and no longer necessary as the Smug Bug does a better job)
- Eleven - integration underway. Connects via cloud API.
- SolaX - integration underway. Requires Smug Bug IHD. BETA TESTERS REQUIRED.

Cost
The Smug App is completely free to use as we’re focused on putting money back in your pocket through smarter battery optimisation. In the future, we plan to connect you to flexibility markets — where your battery can earn money by responding to grid demand — and we’ll share the revenues with our users. We may in the future also introduce a premium subscription offering with additional features.
