Microinverters

The IQ9N microinverters are designed for use with new generation high-output PV modules. They can be paired with all common PV module powers and support a panel output of 600W before clipping losses begin. They are compatible with existing IQ7 and IQ8 systems, allowing you to easily expand your solar generation. The IQ9N microinverters offer high energy production, reliability, and safety standards with rapid shutdown functionality.

Easy Installation

The IQ9N microinverters are lightweight and compact. They come with integrated Stäubli MC4 connectors and simple AC cabling for a fast and easy installation. They offer faster firmware upgrades using new integrated circuit technology

Reliable

The IQ9N have received more than 1 million power-on hours of reliability testing. They utilise Enphase's burst mode technology to provide increased energy production and offer low-voltage DC and rapid shutdown for high-quality fire safety. 

Compatibility

The IQ9N microinverters are compatible with all common PV module powers and cell architecture provided the maximum input voltage of 60V and the maximum input current of the inverter is not exceeded. You can use Enphase's compatibility calculator to check which panels are suitable. 

IQ9N Microinverters can be added to existing IQ7 or IQ8 systems on the same Combiner / Gateway. IQ7 or IQ8 series microinverters cannot be added to a site with existing IQ9N microinverters on the same gateway. 
If the combined peak power output of the IQ7, IQ8, and IQ9N microinverters exceeds 150% of the battery array’s rated power output PV shedding must be implemented to shed excess PV when the system transitions to off-grid mode. This ratio increases to 200% for a mixed system of IQ8 and IQ9N microinverters.
