The second generation upgrade provides partial shading optimisation, a better temperature coefficient, and more micro-crack resistance. They also utilise AIKO's All Back Contact technology. All Back Contact means the metal grid traditionally on the front of the panel is moved to the back, creating an aesthetically pleasing panel as well as increasing the area on the panel that is illuminated and can be used to generate power, reducing resistive losses, and increasing efficiency.
